Things you need before you start making a doll:

carded sheep wool for stuffing

light colored button hole thread

nylon nude colored tights/stockings

skin color fine wool or cotton knitted fabric

knitting wool yarn for hair color of your choice, ideally alpaca but not essentially so

pins, 13 cm long needle and other variety of needles

scissors

a peaceful space to watch blog and craft

Preparation 1 wool only washed

Preparation 2 teased

Preparation 3 load onto carders

Preparation 4 card

Preparation 5 removed from carder, lovely fluffy

Preparation 6 Carding with drum carder
